Demand shows up before you spend.
Tagging means a shopper raises their hand for a deal — no purchase or payment required.
You choose the discount, the number of tags needed, the time window, and the cap on codes. The deal opens only when enough shoppers tag — then they redeem single-use codes you created in Seller Central.
- No bidding against other sellers
- Your list price never drops publicly
- Seeing demand costs nothing
It sits in the buy box, above the price.
CrowdTag is a free Chrome extension. A shopper installs it once, and from then on the card appears on the Amazon product pages they visit — including yours.
It takes its own space in the page rather than floating over it, so it never covers the price, the buttons, or anything else — at any scroll position.

Acquire customers only when shoppers unlock the deal you set.
Set your deal rules
Pick a product, a discount, how many tags unlock it, the time window, and a weekly cap on codes. Load your single-use codes from Seller Central. Nothing runs unless you set the rule.
Shoppers signal interest
The CrowdTag widget shows a live count on your listing. Tagging is free, takes one click, and counts once per shopper. We never seed or simulate a count.
The deal unlocks automatically
When enough shoppers tag inside your window, every one of them instantly receives one of your codes and checks out on Amazon at your listed price minus the discount you funded.
the most an example rule can cost you — 25 codes × $20, capped weekly. You set the cap, so you know the number up front.
to see the interest. Watching shoppers tag your products costs nothing until you choose to fund a deal.
of shoppers covered before a countdown ever appears. If you don't have enough codes available for everyone, no countdown is shown.
A tiny card on the product page. A very big reason to click it.
The CrowdTag extension renders on Amazon product pages. Counts are always real — the widget never shows a number that didn’t happen. Here’s the whole journey, in the widget’s actual design:
Shoppers tag on the Amazon product page. The count and countdown are live.
Apply it at Amazon checkout. We’re emailing it to you as well.
Enough tags inside the window — every shopper who tagged gets a code, automatically.
The public listing price stays the same; the brand funds the discount through their promo code.
Built on Amazon’s own promotions.
The question every seller asks first. Here is exactly what happens, mechanism by mechanism.
The discount
Is a single-use promotion you create yourself in Amazon Seller Central. CrowdTag doesn't generate codes, set prices, or change your listing.
The purchase
Happens in Amazon's normal checkout, on your listing, at your listed price minus your code. CrowdTag isn't part of the transaction and takes no share of the order.
The extension
Renders in the shopper's own browser. It adds one card at the top of the buy-box column and reads nothing from cart, checkout, or order pages. No money moves outside Amazon, ever.
CrowdTag is designed to use standard single-use promotions created in Seller Central and redeemed in Amazon checkout. Sellers remain responsible for ensuring each campaign complies with applicable Amazon policies. We’ll walk through the mechanics with you before any campaign goes live.
Most acquisition channels charge before a sale is certain.
A tag is visible pre-purchase interest — not a purchase commitment. What it buys you is a reason to discount, and a cost you cap in advance.
Cost lands after the discount is used.
Ads charge per click, before you know whether anything sells. Here, your cost arrives when a shopper uses a code at checkout — at a per-code amount you set.
Discount the shoppers who asked.
A sitewide markdown drops the price for everyone, including shoppers who would have paid full price. CrowdTag opens a discount only after shoppers signal interest, and only for them — with single-use codes limited to that product, so the discount is hard to pass around.
Shoppers who were already buying.
Deal sites often attract shoppers who arrive for the offer. CrowdTag counts shoppers already looking at your listing, and the discount reaches only them — through codes you created.
See interest before it becomes a sale.
Amazon reports what sold. It doesn't show who considered a product and moved on. Your tag history shows which of your products shoppers are tagging, in what volume, and at what price — and watching costs nothing.

Before you ask
For brands
Three ways. Audience: deal sites often attract shoppers who arrive for the offer, while CrowdTag counts shoppers already looking at your listing. Control: you choose the discount, how many tags unlock it, and the weekly cap on codes — nothing opens that you didn’t set. The transaction: the sale happens on Amazon, on your listing, with codes you created. CrowdTag isn’t part of the purchase and takes no share of the order.
